UAZ Patriot stove fan does not work

Heater motor UAZ Patriot

A car of any brand intended for use in areas with temperate and cold climates is equipped with a stove. Such vehicles also include cars produced at the car plant in Ulyanovsk.

Most car parts and components are subject to wear and tear. The UAZ Patriot stove motor is no exception. In case of breakdown, all parts of the heating device can be replaced with your own hands.

Replacing the UAZ Patriot heater motor

The Ulyanovsk-made UAZ Patriot off-road vehicle is equipped with such an indispensable device as an interior heater. It is impossible to do without a stove in the cold season, so it is very important to monitor the serviceability of this device. There are a decent number of malfunctions of the stove, of which a large share falls on the heater fan. In this material, we will pay attention to this unit and consider what a heater fan is, what are the types of its malfunctions, the operating diagram, as well as the process of replacing the product with more modern units.

Design features of the heater fan

The stove is designed to heat the interior of the UAZ Patriot and windshields. On the latest SUV models, an additional unit is installed that pumps heated air into the rear of the car. The heater on some cars is equipped with a climate control system. It regulates the operation of the device in summer and winter. In everyday conditions, the setting is carried out using the control unit. Modes are set automatically and manually.

The stove consists of two main components:

  • fan blades;
  • electric motor

The fan forces heated air into the main pipe under the action of an electric motor, which uses the energy of the vehicle’s on-board network.

The heater motor is a weak point in the interior heating system, so SUV owners need to be able to repair it or install a new one. Over time, insect remains, particles of street debris and dust accumulate on the blades. This increases the load experienced by the engine. As a result, the current in the circuit increases, the parts heat up, and there is a risk of jamming the working shaft of the electric motor.

The motor power supply includes:

  • generator;
  • battery;
  • egnition lock;
  • switch;
  • fuse box;
  • resistor;
  • motor.

The generator produces electrical energy while the main engine of the car is running. The power unit is started using the battery. The heating system can operate from a battery, but it consumes a lot of electricity and the current source quickly discharges. A dead battery will not allow you to start the engine. The switch regulates the functioning of the heater and allows you to smoothly change the number of revolutions of the working shaft. Due to this, the amount of warm air supplied increases or decreases.

The electric motor of the heating installation on the UAZ Patriot is designed for 1000 hours of service. After this period, the risk of breakdown increases sharply. Therefore, the driver needs to know the causes of malfunctions, be able to find them and deal with them.

Types of malfunctions of the electric motor of the stove fan

The occurrence of hums and whistles, creaks and rattles in the stove is the most common drawback in the operation of the heating system of a car. After this, breakdowns begin. Disadvantages include clogging of fan blades with street debris and failure of bearings. It is necessary to immediately remove and clean the electric motor and the fan that blows warm air.

After cleaning, the rubbing parts are lubricated with Litol 24.

  • damage to wires;
  • short circuit of the positive wire going to the stove;
  • failure of the switch in the cabin;
  • wear of brushes or breakage of motor windings;
  • resistor burnout;
  • stove damper failure.

If the wires are damaged or broken, the fan of the heating device cannot start. A breakdown of the central switch leads to a failure of the stove or to operation in the only possible mode. A burnt-out resistor causes the fan to operate at maximum shaft rotation speeds in any switch position. If the damper fails, the cause may be a malfunction of the control unit or micro-gearbox.

To eliminate breakdowns, you need to correctly diagnose their cause.

If the wires are faulty, they are replaced with new ones. When choosing, you need to pay special attention to the condition of the insulation. The burnt resistor or switch is replaced with a part with similar parameters. The fan is rearranged complete with the motor.

Replacing the motor

Often, UAZ Patriot owners encounter problems with the stove unexpectedly, although the instructions indicate the operating time of the device. If the fault is correctly identified, it can be eliminated without much difficulty. The most difficult operation is replacing the engine. It is removed in the following order:

  • it is necessary to de-energize the car;
  • remove the glove compartment;
  • unscrew the screws securing the air duct;
  • go to the engine compartment to continue work;
  • open the hood;
  • remove the washer reservoir;
  • remove the water pump;
  • unscrew the 3 bolts securing the stove and dismantle it;
  • disconnect the terminals from the fan shaft;
  • release the clamps with a screwdriver and remove the fan from the housing.

De-energizing the SUV is simple: you need to remove the terminals from the battery. After removing the fan, carefully inspect it, clean it of foreign objects, find problems and try to fix them. Often repairs involve removing debris and dust. Sometimes it is necessary to clean and tighten oxidized contacts and restore broken wires. If the reason is hidden in the electric motor, it is necessary to completely replace it. Instead of a standard unit, a more durable and reliable Delphi motor with a fan will be suitable.

After completing the replacement work and performing a preventive inspection of all heater parts, the engine kit with blades is installed in place. Installation operations are carried out in reverse order.

We must not forget about the possibility of the on-board stove operating as a cooling device in the summer. This method is used when the car does not have a sunroof or air conditioning. The device switches on to supply clean cool air to the cabin. Therefore, you need to constantly monitor the condition of the heating installation parts. It is recommended to periodically carry out preventive inspections of the system.

Instructions for replacing the motor (fan) of the UAZ Patriot stove

Any car whose operation involves being in mid-latitudes is equipped with a stove - a unit that cannot be avoided during the cold season. The UAZ Patriot SUV, being a product of the domestic automobile industry, was initially designed for operation in the harsh Russian climate. Since winters in most parts of the country are not mild, reliable operation of the heater is one of the main conditions for trouble-free operation of the car in the cold season. Unfortunately, we are not talking about absolute failure-free operation.

Instructions for replacing the heater motor in a UAZ Patriot.

As practice shows, even the simplest and most reliable devices can fail. The heating system of a modern car cannot be called simple - it consists of many components, each of which has its own weaknesses. Today we will try to describe the design of the stove fan - one of the main components of the UAZ Patriot heating system, and also consider the main reasons for the failure of this unit and tell you how to replace the fan motor yourself.

Internal radiator (heater, stove ) UAZ Patriot (removal and replacement)

The UAZ Patriot cabin heater, often called a stove, usually does not produce this “sand” when there is a thunderclap. Like the proverb This is true, because in the summer the driver often does not think about how efficiently the heater gives off heat. the stove, if it is definitely not leaking. As a result, it turns out that the heater is faulty only in winter, during the cold period.

When concluding that the internal radiator (stove) is faulty, we can say that there are two. typical. First. when the radiator is leaking. Mostly on gaskets installed between plastic cans and the aluminum radiator housing. The second option is when the stove is clogged. Both options are subject to repair. So, in particular, the leak can be covered with glue, and if clogged, the oven can be sent. Use detergents, cleaning products and a pump that pumps liquid through the cooker as it circulates. In any case, after such a repair no one will give you a guarantee of long-term and uninterrupted operation. As a result, it is sometimes easier to replace the internal radiator with a new one to ensure that it will not work in the near future. We are talking about removing and replacing the internal radiator (stove) of the UAZ Patriot in our article.

Design features of the heater fan

Like most similar devices, the fan of the UVZ Patriot stove is structurally composed of two units: the blades themselves, designed to pump air into the line, and the electric motor that drives the blades. The motor itself is powered from the on-board network of the SUV. The fan is an integral part of the car's interior heating system, which is activated by means of a special regulator located in the central part of the instrument panel.

The fan blades are made of high-strength plastic, resembling a jet turbine in appearance. This design contributes to the formation of maximum pumping aerodynamic capacity of the blades. The probability of failure of this unit is quite low, which cannot be said about the electric motor that spins the fan blades at high speed. And since the failure of the fan drive threatens the inoperability of the entire heating system, replacing the UAZ Patriot heater fan is an operation that every owner of an SUV should be able to perform.

Since the car is operated in less than ideal conditions, particles of dust and other debris (including insect debris) inevitably accumulate on the fan blades over time, which leads to increased load on the electric motor. This process is accompanied by an increase in current in the electrical circuit of the motor, causing it to overheat and increase the risk of jamming. The schematic diagram of the electrical equipment responsible for the operation of the fan includes the following components:

  1. A generator, which is the main source of electricity generation when the power unit is running.
  2. A battery that starts a car engine. The SUV's heating system can only operate directly from the battery for a limited time, provided that the ignition key is in the on position. Since the UAZ Patriot stove motor is an active consumer of electricity, its operation from the battery will contribute to the rapid discharge of the latter. For this reason, it is not recommended to warm up the SUV directly after a long stay - in this case, especially in winter, you risk not starting the engine itself due to a dead battery.
  3. Egnition lock.
  4. A heater operating mode switch that allows you to smoothly increase/decrease the number of revolutions of the electric motor, thereby regulating the power of the air flow supplied to the interior of the SUV.
  5. Fuse block.
  6. Resistor.
  7. Electric motor.

The principle of operation of the car heating system is quite simple: when the heater is turned on with the engine running, the generator starts the fan motor, which begins to pump air into the line. Passing through the radiator with heated coolant, the air also warms up and hits the deflectors, blowing the interior.

The electric motor of the UAZ Patriot heater is considered one of the weakest links in this chain - its service life, as experience in operating an SUV shows, is about a thousand hours of operation. After reaching this value, the risk of malfunctions increases sharply, which is why it is so important to know the main reasons for the motor’s inoperability, be able to diagnose them and fix them yourself. In principle, replacing the heater fan drive is a simple procedure, and instead of the standard electric motor, it is possible to install a UAZ Patriot Delphi heater motor or a motor from Sanden - they are fully compatible both in size and electrical parameters.

Design features

The heater fan is a double structure consisting of blades and an electric motor powered by the on-board power supply of the UAZ Patriot. The fan is located in the design of the interior heating system of the UAZ Patriot SUV and is turned on using a special regulator on the instrument panel in the central part. The design of the blades is made of plastic and has a round shape with a ribbed surface around the circumference. It is the blades that contribute to the process of pumping air into the car interior.

The blades are driven by an electric motor, which in frequent cases fails, thereby rendering the heater on the SUV inoperable. The photo below shows a view of a fan with a built-in motor.

From the photo, it is clear that if the motor fails, it can be replaced by tearing off the rivets. Over time, when the stove is used, dust and debris settle on the fan blades. This leads to an increase in load, as a result of which the current in the motor circuit increases, and this, in turn, can lead to jamming of the device. The photo below shows a power supply diagram for the electric motor of the UAZ Patriot car heater, which allows you to understand the principle of operation of the device. The diagram shows the following devices that take part in the operation of the stove motor:

  1. a generator that generates current during the operation of the internal combustion engine.
  2. The battery is used to start the internal combustion engine. Operation of the stove directly from the battery is possible only when the ignition is switched on in short-term mode. The heater motor consumes a lot of energy, so it drains the battery quite quickly. It is not recommended to warm up the interior of a UAZ Patriot SUV directly from the battery without starting the internal combustion engine.
  3. egnition lock.
  4. fuse block.
  5. stove operating mode switch. But in fact, when the regulator is switched, the motor rotor speed increases or decreases.
  6. resistor.
  7. motor.

Types of malfunctions of the electric motor of the stove fan

The main sign indicating the imminent occurrence of major troubles is the appearance of various noises (grinding, humming, creaking, whistling) coming from the location of the heater fan. Such sounds are usually symptoms of the beginning of bearing destruction, as well as fairly large and hard foreign objects entering the fan blades. In the latter case, replacing the motor of the UAZ Patriot heater is not required - it is enough to remove the electric motor, clean it of dust, remove dirt and foreign objects, and carry out preventive lubrication work.

In this case, to lubricate the fan bearings, it is necessary to use the universal composition Litol 24. Note that some models of electric motors are mounted not on bearings, but with the help of bushings - such products are characterized by increased noise during operation and do not have a long service life, so owners of SUVs equipped with such products , it is recommended to replace the UAZ Patriot heater engine.

Other reasons for the heater motor not working include the following:

  • damage (breaks) to the electrical wires connecting the fan to the generator, malfunctions (oxidation or breaks) of contacts and connection points of electrical wires. In such cases, the fan usually does not start;
  • rupture of the positive wire of the electric motor, or short circuit of the wiring to ground;
  • breakdown of the heater switch located in the cabin (in this case, the stove either will not turn on or will function in one mode);
  • wear or breakage of internal components of the electric motor (brushes, commutator, rotor winding);
  • break/burnout of the resistor, which will be evidenced by the fan operating at maximum speed when it is turned on and the lack of response to changes in the position of the regulator.

Troubleshooting a fan depends on correctly diagnosing the type of failure. If it turns out that the inoperability of the heating system is caused by a violation of the integrity of the drive, the fan of the UAZ Patriot stove will need to be replaced.

Replacing the electric motor

For many owners of a domestic SUV, a stove failure is a nuisance that they have never encountered before. Finding the cause of the malfunction in this case can be very difficult, but if it turns out that the product is beyond repair, the motor will need to be replaced. How to remove the electric heater motor of a UAZ Patriot:

  • de-energize the SUV (remove the battery terminals);
  • dismantle the glove compartment;
  • unscrew the screws securing the air duct;
  • go to the engine compartment: open the hood, unscrew the washer reservoir, remove it from the bracket and put it aside so that it does not interfere;
  • We perform the same operation in relation to the additional water pump (without removing it completely from the bracket);
  • dismantle the stove body, secured with three bolts;
  • access to the fan motor opens, disconnect its terminals from the fan drive shaft;
  • Using a screwdriver, press out the fixing clips and remove the fan from the heater housing. Let us draw your attention to the fact that when removing the UAZ Patriot heater motor of the new model, it is necessary to monitor the plastic bushings to prevent them from falling out.

With the fan removed, it is much easier to detect problems that lead to the loss of the device's functionality. A fairly common cause of failure of the heating system is the entry of foreign objects into the fan cavity, the removal of which completely solves the problem. In some cases, fan repair involves cleaning and tightening contacts, and eliminating broken electrical wiring. If the cause of the malfunction is in the electric motor itself, the UAZ Patriot heater motor will need to be replaced. Delphi brand engines have proven themselves to be the best - they are reliable and durable products. It is advisable to change not the engine itself, but the fan assembly, that is, along with the blades.

Heater on a UAZ Patriot: replacing the fan, cabin filter, thermostat

A special heater is installed under the dashboard in the UAZ Patriot, which is designed to warm the cabin, and for rear row passengers, an additional heating system is installed in the seats for the same purpose. The temperature, intensity, and direction of air flows are regulated using switches located in a special control unit for the ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and heating systems. In the article we will look at how the UAZ Patriot stove works and what design features it has.

Control system

The stove and air conditioning system are regulated using a control unit (control unit), which includes a system of regulators, thanks to which various tasks of the following nature are controlled and performed:

  • The stove operating mode can be set either manually or automatically;
  • The Control Unit reads information from the temperature sensor located in the SUV's interior;
  • Thanks to a special regulator, the control unit can operate in several speed modes;
  • The maximum current consumption of the stove is 14 Amps;
  • The air blower operates from the power supply.

This control unit is an electronic device with three regulators with different operating modes, and a computer reprogramming system. The control unit is located in the central part and in case of any malfunctions, it can be removed.

Purpose of the stove

The main function of the stove on the UAZ Patriot is to heat the interior, and it also helps to cope with the problem of glass fogging, which is very important in the cold season. On versions released before 2012, only a front heater was installed, and starting from 2012, the UAZ Patriot was equipped with a second additional heater, this helped increase the comfort of the SUV in winter. Thanks to the additional heater, the rear of the cabin became better heated.

In addition, depending on the configuration, a domestic SUV can be equipped with climate control, thanks to which absolute comfort is achieved in summer and winter. The only drawback of the air conditioner is the increase in fuel consumption during operation of the ventilation and heating system. At the same time, the heater radiator and heating radiator are working.

There are four types of heater on the UAZ Patriot, depending on the year of manufacture of the car.

Simbir stove

Since 2005, when the UAZ Patriot began to be produced, a heater from Simbir, its predecessor, was installed on it; it switched to the UAZ practically without changes. In the cabin there was a radiator, the body itself, and under the hood an air intake in which the heater motor was located. While the air reached the radiator, everything was blown out into the cracks and it was cold in the car itself.

Delphi stove

As a result, in 2007, UAZ made a breakthrough and changed its heating system. The engine was moved into the cabin, but the air intake itself remained under the hood, i.e. This is a container that prevents moisture from entering the heater; this is a bucket into which water is spilled. The air path from the intake to the radiator was shortened and this design made the cabin warmer. We used a lot of imported parts in this design, the Delphi motor, the Delphi radiator and the heater resistance were also imported. The heater itself was manufactured in Russia and was one-piece, i.e. it was impossible to disassemble it. But at the same time, he lived for a long time and over time allowed us to install air conditioning on the UAZ Patriot. The heater lasted in this configuration until May 2012.

Sanden stove

When UAZ changed the instrument panel from Iran to its Nizhny Novgorod one, it was necessary to change the stove to a new one from Sanden. The heater was radically different from its predecessor. It was already shuttered and the air began to flow into the cabin warm. The motor began to use not resistance, but a speed control unit using microcircuits. The radiator was already made of aluminum and served for a long time.

Four years have passed and with the replacement of the dashboard a new heating system from a Korean company came out. The first copy was the simplest with a built-in air conditioner and heater radiator.

go_patriot

All UAZ vehicles should have an additional electric fan from the factory, which helps combat overheating in especially severe cases, for example, in summer traffic jams or driving in the mountains. Should be standing, but shouldn't. Or rather, it’s worth it, but not for everyone. Mess! We, UAZ drivers, are no strangers to finishing a car outside the factory. We UAZ drivers sometimes even enjoy it.

If you don’t like the easy way out, you can do something like this, install a spark plug from a VAZ or Chevrolet Niva. There is something lying around with a propeller - you can also attach it, but don’t throw it away.

But personally, I do not support the idea of replacing the viscous coupling with an electric fan.

A viscous coupling is needed in a UAZ. It always spins and provides some kind of cooling. Would you say that it consumes too much horsepower for its low efficiency? Well, okay, but it is absolutely energy independent. The fuse will not blow in it, the wiring will not fray. It just exists and is always spinning.

My thesis is simple: there should be a viscous coupling, and an additional electric fan should help it.

I didn’t think much about a technical solution. On the first Patriot, an additional electric fan was installed from the factory. Its radiator is the same, it matches the Bukhanochka absolutely. You just need to take the Patriot Carlson, buy it and install it.

Is it efficient enough?

Enough. Repeatedly tested in Altai, the Urals and Mongolia. There were times when I wanted to have not one, but two such fans, but that was a couple of times, when in July, when at exactly noon, when in the heat of the day, when on a steep mountain pass.

We begin to look for something similar to the Patriot Carlson. Here it is, my dear one, being sold on Bazashop for a little over three thousand. But without wires for switching. Some wires are sold nearby, but do they fit here? This is a UAZ, there are a thousand modifications of them!

Heater fan

In stoves, the fan is replaced in rare cases, for example, if work occurs under increased load, or if moisture gets on the parts, and also when it is impossible to make repairs. Replacing it is not difficult; difficulty may arise when removing the front console. The heater fan is easy to check.

You need to bring the car and, by changing the position of the heater control knob, determine by the sound whether there is any extraneous noise or not.

If there is noise, we begin our check by removing the cabin filter, it is probably clogged. The cabin filter sometimes becomes bent and interferes with the operation of the fan. In this case, we simply replace the old one with a new one and we will have normal airflow again.

Features of operation and maintenance of the UAZ fan drive fluid coupling

The viscous coupling does not require any special maintenance during operation, and usually functions without problems until its service life is exhausted. However, to ensure the best quality of operation of the viscous coupling, it is necessary to monitor the cleanliness of its surface - dirt and oil stains that may interfere with normal heating should be removed from its surface. A dirty clutch will work late or not warm up to the required temperature at all, which means the fan will not be controlled correctly.

Situations are possible when the clutch stops working for no apparent reason, in which case you can try to repair it. To do this you need to follow a few simple steps:

If the fluid coupling does not start working, then it is easier to throw it away and buy a new one, especially since its cost is not too high.

In conclusion, we will say that UAZ owners often complain about the poor quality of the viscous coupling, and some even replace it with an electric drive. However, most often the poor performance of the coupling is associated with the above-mentioned contamination of its surface, as well as improper adjustment of the blinds. Although in fairness it is worth noting that foreign-made couplings are superior in quality to domestic models, and often have a much longer service life and durability. However, this depends on the specific viscous coupling model, and most UAZ owners, especially new models, are quite satisfied with the performance of the coupling.

Additional stove

In winter, UAZ Patriot models have the problem of heating the interior with one stove, so craftsmen install an additional one with their own hands. An additional hose outlet is made from the radiator to the second stove. When installing a second heater, the cabin becomes significantly warmer even at the first air supply speed.

On the radiator, when installing a second heater, liquid is not pumped from the bottom up as at the factory, but on the contrary, there is no need to install a pump for air circulation. The additional stove is installed in the armrest, there is just enough space there, there is no need to cut anything additional.

We connect our own switch to the second stove to turn it on additionally. After installing the second stove, the heating system works much better on the UAZ Patriot.

Radiator and electric fan.

If the radiator breaks, we install a new one with additional installation on the radiator of the electric fan.

Before this, the car had an aluminum one, which behaves unpredictably when driving on bumps. When driving over rough terrain, the radiator tanks fail and begin to leak. Because of this, the interior begins to stink, which is unpleasant when the car is moving. After all the torment, I recommend replacing YOUR ALUMINUM heater radiator with a double-row copper one, it costs more, but you will forget about the leaks and the stink forever.

The heater radiator is from the Ulyanovsk plant, and we are installing a fan on it from the Chinese company GREAT WALL HOVER 1308100-K00-B1. The whole advantage of this fan is that it is ideally sized for our radiator. And there is no need to do anything additional. The fan has additional resistance, which gives it two speeds. In the future, it will not be necessary for the fan to constantly thresh at the same speed and still cool our engine normally.

Radiator modification

To modify the new radiator, we cut off the ears from it with a grinder and remove the temperature sensor,

since it will be on the thermostat.

.

The heater radiator itself is mounted on the face of the UAZ Patriot car and rests slightly at the bottom on rubber spacers.

This is important in the future when moving, for its depreciation. The fan operates from a standard Zhiguli sensor. In addition to this fan, the car has another one, which turns on in emergencies when the coolant temperature is 102 degrees. After replacement, the heater radiator works flawlessly in the UAZ Patriot.

Disassembly - cleaning the fan

As I already wrote above, in each car the removal of this device is done differently, but the essence always remains the same, we either have the fan completely removed or there is direct access to it so that the elements can be lubricated.

I WOULD LIKE TO CAUTION - before you remove the electric motor, disconnect the terminals from the car battery to avoid unnecessary unnecessary short circuits.

The fan is almost always designed the same way - it is an electric motor and at the top there is a cylindrical comb (blades) that pumps air. Here's a small example.

The whistle comes from the engine itself; it has one or two bearings that hold the rotation shaft. If the bearings fail or become clogged with (annual) dirt, strange sounds occur - whistling, crackling, buzzing, etc. There are two possible scenarios:

  • Just cleaning . Diagnostics is simple, try turning the removed motor - if it turns difficult, sometimes even with familiar sounds, then vacuum the engine, lubricate the bearings and other rotating elements (can be done with any silicone grease, sometimes you can use WD-40), clean all the dirt from the shaft.

Usually this is enough in 70% of cases, the electric motor starts working quietly, easily, without unnecessary sounds. Enough for a very long time of silent operation.

  • Repair and replacement of shaft bearings . Diagnostics - the shaft does not rotate at all. Here the matter is more complicated, you will need to disassemble the engine itself - “look inside it.” Due to prolonged incorrect operation, bearings can jam, they simply break, the balls “wedge” in them. Many people can now say - why bother, you just need to buy a new engine! Perhaps this is a fairer remark, but the cost of the heater fan (and as a rule it comes assembled) is not very small. For example, for an ordinary foreign car of class “C” it will vary from approximately 5,000 to 10,000 rubles, which is a lot! And if you have a car of a higher class, then prices rise geometrically. So replacing bearings is very justified; they cost pennies.

SO : We unscrew the blades, they are either plastic or metal (often aluminum). There will be a nut in the middle that needs to be twisted, if you managed to unscrew it but the blades cannot be removed, put them, BUT NOT THE WHOLE engine, in hot water, not boiling water but not lukewarm (60 - 65 degrees), they can be additionally secured with boiling water glue it will soften a little, the plastic will expand and you will slowly remove the blades.

Next, we disassemble the electric motor itself, usually these are two or three bolts (nuts) that can be easily unscrewed. You need to "halve" the motor with care so as not to lose all the small parts. After removing the cover you will have a picture something like this.

Next, we remove the bearings, I repeat once again - often there are two of them, and then we change them. One aspect, as a rule, is that you will not be able to find exactly the same ones as those installed in yours. However, having removed the parameters of the shaft, or taking the old option, we go to a special store, of which we have a lot in the city, and buy a suitable option.

We just select the size, take a regular ball bearing, or even our domestic one - they will last longer. We put them on the shaft, assemble the motor and rejoice.

In 90% of cases, if you did everything correctly, there will be no noise, whistling, or crackling. Even if your engine was jammed, after replacement, performance will most likely be restored. This is exactly what we did with a friend in his Skoda Fabia, a new stove cost about 5,000 rubles, the price of our repair was the purchase of two bearings + a can of silicone grease, about 400 - 500 rubles. Now for the second year it has been working great, no whistling, no crunching - silence! As a friend said, it works even quieter than the new one, but it seems to me that “every sandpiper praises its own swamp”!

I think there is no need to explain further that the assembled motor is installed in its original place and used! Now we are watching a useful video on the topic.

I’ll end here, I think this article was useful to you.
