I continue to equip the car with components from more prestigious and expensive brands.
In principle, I did everything at the same time, but for ease of perception I divided it into different topics. The illumination of the interior door handles in our case serves more as a decorative element, but this is also not bad. A car that is beautiful on the outside should also be beautiful on the inside.

Light reflectors for the door handle illumination (light guide):
You can take all the same ones, since they are all the same and the only difference is in the shape of the lower part of the reflector.

LED door handle illumination:
It comes directly from the factory in the housing. Also, the resistance is already soldered inside, so no additional is required. The glow color is red. There is no other.

Remove the door trim.

Remove the handle.

Cut off the plastic reinforcement above the handle.

Apply masking tape and apply markings.

The hole can only be made with an engraver with a sharpened circle (nothing else can fit in there). The hole can also be easily leveled using a circle.

Light guides in their original form will not suit us in shape. The handle won't fit into place. So we insert the light guide into the hole made and use an industrial hair dryer to change its shape. It bends well.

We fix the light guide with hot glue.

We cut off the lower part of the body of the diode and expose the legs. (we cut off the body as it prevents the handle from getting into place). Solder a new connector. I used the following: Aliexpress
I insulated the wiring with rag tape, again from the WW concern, and sealed the light guide on top with moisture and heat protective tape.
We install the handle in place.

We run the wiring along the door card.

Plus appears from the light sensor or when turning, the light switches to size mode.
The minus is constant from the decoupling of the minuses. I ran all the wiring during installation:

It looks very harmonious and beautiful. The handle is dimly illuminated with a red glow + above the handle itself the light guide is completely filled with red.
