In such a situation, it is necessary to disconnect the hose from the nozzle and make sure that the washer is supplied at normal pressure. If everything is fine here, then the reason is in the jets. The latter, in turn, can be cleaned or replaced.

  1. Electrical faults. We must not forget that mechanical problems are not the only ones when using washers. Malfunctions can also occur in the electrical part:

– the fuse has blown. If, when the washer is turned on, the booster pump does not show any signs of “life,” then the reason may be in the fuse-link through which the device is powered. Find the fuse box in the car, study the manual and find the number you need. Check the fuse (replace if necessary);

– the clamps have oxidized. Often the problem of malfunction lies at the pump terminals. There are situations when switching wires oxidize due to moisture or even fall off altogether. In such a situation, the problem can be solved simply - just restore the wiring;

– the switch has failed. If the washer motor (pump) does not work and the fuse is intact, then check the device switch (it is located on the steering column). Do some diagnostics. Turn on the ignition and ask your partner to run the washer. In this case, go to the motor yourself and check for voltage on it. If there is voltage, but the pump still does not work, then it needs to be replaced.

In the case when voltage is not supplied to the node, the reasons may be the following: the switch has failed, the device switching relay does not operate, or the wiring itself is faulty (for example, the wires are broken or the contact is oxidized).

  • Next, unscrew the four self-tapping screws that secure the cladding. The screws are located under the plugs.
  • Then you need to disconnect the sound insulation, which is attached to the wind window trim with six self-tapping screws.
  • Carefully remove the top part of the windshield.

I won’t go into great detail about why and how I decided to change my four-hole ones to fan ones from tens, I’ll say briefly - this was facilitated by long-term convictions and the fact that in the left (that is, on my side) the holes were always clogged. As a result, the glass is bad washed. Therefore, now I decided on something that I didn’t have yet - namely fan injectors from 2110.
