Engine
They put a lot of effort into the Super-Auto engine; it received the code VAZ-21128. The Premier was given a sixteen-valve engine with a displacement of 1.8 liters and a power of 98 hp. In real tests, the engine produced 2-4 horsepower more. In the combined cycle it consumes 7.2 liters per 100 km. The volume of the gas tank is 43 l, the octane number of gasoline is 95.
Siemens injectors and a throttle pipe with a wide bore were installed on the car - this gave greater stability to the engine. This “device” accelerates to 100 km/h in 11.5 seconds, and the declared maximum speed is 195 km/h. Produces 162 Nm at 3200 rpm.

It would seem that the Tolyatti Automobile Plant can only counter the cost: 300-400 thousand rubles. for a new, albeit budget car - unprecedented generosity. But the advantages of AvtoVAZ are not limited to this. And the Lada Priora station wagon (as well as versions in other bodies), as one of the favorite models of Russian car enthusiasts, is proof of this.
By the way, the car is also valued abroad, as evidenced by the volume of export sales.

Finding out the Priora engine number is not so difficult for two reasons: firstly, the Lada Priora is simple in its design compared to other cars; secondly, there are usually not enough numbers on the vehicle to get confused. It is worth noting that its official name in all documents is VIN code.
Lada Priora equipment standard what is included
There is nothing to be done; in a crisis, Priora was forced to turn to the path once taken by the famous “seven” - VAZ-2107. Remember? The once richest and most prestigious model of the rear-wheel drive family has become the latest “classic” in AVTOVAZ’s production program. Toward the end of its release, it was made as cheap and simplified as possible, turning the car from a luxury one into a budget one.
So the Priora was first depleted of bodies: the hatchback and station wagon were discontinued at the end of 2015. And now there are only two options left - this is “Norma” at a price from 437,700 to 474,000 rubles for the option with air conditioning (for this money AVTOVAZ has more interesting offers) and “Standard” with a shortened list of options, thanks to which it was possible to reduce the price to 389,000 rubles.
For comparison: the smaller Granta in the basic configuration costs 383,900 rubles. We can assume that we are equal. And not only the price. Both models have an 8-valve VAZ-21116 engine with a power of 87 hp under the hood.
With him, Priora does not seem too sluggish. It accelerates well and brakes well, fortunately the anti-lock braking system and electronic brake force distribution were not cut.
The small wheels are not visible from the interior, but the Priora handles tolerably well on them.
I think that the Priora will still live in the “many car for a ruble” scenario. It does not have a fatally outdated appearance, a high-quality interior and a comfortable interior.
The former prima donna is let down by the design features of the tenth family platform, originally from the 90s: suboptimal ergonomics of the driver’s seat, a small gas tank and trunk for a car of this size, as well as vibrations and noise.
All this shows age and makes no sense in further attempts to design expensive luxury versions. Therefore, Priora cannot avoid the fate of the “Seven” - the affordable modification now has a better chance of finding a buyer.
