I bought the car in March in the “Lux” configuration. To be honest, I wanted a foreign car, but for 400-500 thousand rubles. I couldn’t find anything I liked in Yarik, but I didn’t want to buy a used one. My dream of a Hyundai Solaris fell apart, because... With your height of 1.8 m, you feel uncomfortable in the cabin - your head rests on the ceiling, Renault Logan was not considered in principle. So, closer to the topic.

My husband and I went to the salon out of curiosity to look at the Grant, but again the 2 giants in the car felt discomfort, especially in the rear seats, and the trunk seemed too small. Then the manager heard our conversation that, in principle, we needed a roomy car, or more simply, a family car for traveling to Crimea on vacation. I offered station wagons to Priora and Kalina. Priora was immediately rejected (a coffin carrier), but Kalina was interested - the car looks small in appearance, but it is comfortable for all 5 passengers in the front and rear, with a spacious trunk. With tears, we passed our swallow 21093 into the test and drove away on the new cherry-colored Kalina, which was available (16 valves, 98 hp, 1.6 engine). Now 4.5 thousand km have been driven.

You sit high - after nine it seemed like you were in a jeep, the pedals were comfortable. I liked the “sharp” steering - the car reacts quickly, clearly, takes turns well, picks up speed well (but I won’t test this part until 10 thousand miles), holds the road well - cracks and unevenness of the road do not throw it off balance, easily steps over speed bumps. Surprisingly, there is no rattling of plastic in the cabin and no dust, as was the case in the nine.

The sound insulation of the cabin is poor, I would like it to be better if this is called the Luxury package. There was also a problem: some wires were stuck in the rear right door, which caused the sensor to go off, indicating that the door was supposedly not closed, which meant the car could not be set to alarm. My husband had to remove the casing and straighten the wires, fortunately only them, the lock turned out to be working.

I think that whoever is thinking about purchasing a car now - take it, you won’t regret it if you also need a station wagon. Kalina will now go into the world and into good people, not like 4 years ago. I think that now it is a good competitor to foreign cars in the same model range; if you remove the AvtoVAZ badge, you can’t tell it from a foreign car. Although some say that depending on your luck, buying our cars is still a lottery. I hope that with the arrival of new co-owners at the plant there will be further improvements to our cars and in 3-4 years, having saved up some money, I will go not for Foltz, but for our new “advanced” car.

What does the manufacturer testify to?
