The new Priora SE bumper has special holes in the lower part that are specifically designed for installing eyelashes. In this case, the overlays can be installed without modifications. We snap them into the standard places of the body kit, and additionally fix the edge on the wheel side with a self-tapping screw.
In other cases, when there are no holes in the front bumper, you will have to modify the accessories:
- cut off the clips of the trim so that the surface attached to the bumper becomes level.
- fix the trim on the bumper using self-tapping screws.
- if the shape of the accessory does not correspond to the bend of the bumper, cuts should be made in the lining stiffeners, as shown in the photo.

Next, you need to transfer the template with a marker onto the material from which you want to make the accessory. The most ordinary vinyl film is suitable for this. Carefully cut out the resulting eyelashes.

Now you can begin to “extend” eyelashes onto lenses. First, you need to wash the headlights thoroughly. It is better to glue vinyl overlays using ordinary soap and water, making a concentrated soap solution. You should get rid of the moisture under the film so that the material does not bubble. A regular water removal tool will help with this.
Step #4
We are waiting for the film to dry completely. It must be taken into account that with thin or too transparent vinyl, the light from the lensed headlights will pass through the material, so it is better to fold it in two layers. The result is worth it - the look of your Lada Priora will take on a truly designer look.
PVC overlays
For PVC overlays, plastic two millimeters thick is perfect.
Remove the headlights, place a piece of plastic on them, smooth it along the contour. A technical hair dryer will help with this by heating the thin material and smoothing it out. When the plastic hardens, you can draw eyelashes on the headlights. After this, the standard steps described above are: cut out the linings, prime them and, if you want them to match the color of the body of your Lada Priora, paint them in the desired color.

Fiberglass eyelashes
Homemade fiberglass body kits
The most labor-intensive part is making fiberglass overlays. In order to create them, you will need not only a designer's eye, but also a certain skill.
Step #1
To get started, buy fiberglass, masking tape, putty and epoxy resin. The removed, cleaned headlights must be carefully sealed with masking tape so that the resin does not stick to them, otherwise it will be impossible to tear it off.
Step #2
One layer of resin should be applied to the prepared surface, and several layers of fiberglass should be applied on top. In this case, each new one is applied to the already dried previous one, that is, after about five hours. This work is somewhat similar to creating papier-mâché, only very long and meticulous.
Step #3
When the blank is completely dry, you can safely cut out the eyelashes you imagined from it. It is better to use a stencil for this.
Step #4
Thoroughly putty the cut overlays. After their surface has dried, carefully sand it with fine sandpaper in a circular motion. Then proceed to priming and painting the eyelashes.
Tip: it is better to glue PVC and fiberglass eyelashes to the headlights using double-sided tape or sealant. At the same time, do not forget that the sealed glue must be given enough time to dry - about 12 hours.
How to install eyelashes on LADA Priora headlights
For installation, you will need double-sided tape, which sometimes comes with the product, or glass glue if you do not trust the strength of the tape. First of all, the surface of the glass must be thoroughly cleaned of dirt and dust and treated to avoid oil and grease stains. Only after this remove the film and carefully glue it. The second method is similar to the first, but keep in mind that if you change your mind and decide to change the tuning, you will have to rip it out along with all the contents.
