Connect the corresponding electric door lock drive to the standard trunk lid lock on the car; 2. Replace the lock from the trunk lid of your VAZ-2115 with a similar lock from the VAZ-2110 and equip it in the same way with the mentioned electric drive for the door lock; 3. Install on the car an electric drive kit for the trunk lid, which is often widely available and is sold in a wide range at any spare parts store.

SEQUENCE OF ACTIONS In order to install this device, we disconnect the terminal of the “negative” wire from the battery terminal of the battery. Then we open the trunk lid, remove the piston lock, prying it with a screwdriver, and again using a screwdriver, pry up the piston itself and remove it. In the same way, we remove three more pistons, and after them the plastic casing of the lock.

The threaded bushing can be held with a wrench; a “7” wrench is suitable for this purpose. While we hold it, take a slotted screwdriver and unscrew the locking screw of the rod. We install a washer of sufficiently large diameter under this locking screw, after which we tighten this screw. This device includes an electric wire drive. You need to take this drive in your hands and bend a kind of hook out of it. The center distance on it should be about 20 mm. Having made this hook, we hook it to the locking screw, which is located under the washer we have already installed, as well as to the eye of the electric drive rack. We secure the electric drive with two self-tapping screws to the trunk lid amplifier. And our electric drive is easily and conveniently located in the plastic casing of the auto lock.

When performing this installation, I will use the option of installing an electric door lock drive by replacing the trunk lid lock of a VAZ 2115 with a trunk lid lock from a VAZ 2110.

Take the 10mm socket and unscrew all three stud nuts that secure the auto lock to the trunk lid. After which we remove the lock itself. We install a trunk lid lock from a VAZ 2110, and then adjust its position.

We take a piece of wire and make a rod from it that will connect the lock lever to the eye of the lock's electric drive rack. We will install the electric drive next to the right lamp of your car. In this case, the electric drive will not be covered by its plastic casing, and you will have to make a hole in it for the rod.

Such an electric drive has a relatively small power reserve, and therefore if its lubricant thickens, or if the voltage in the battery drops, which happens, for example, after a long period of inactivity of the car, the trunk lid of such a trunk may not open. And therefore, it will be better if you think about your car in advance and install a special solenoid on it - an electric drive, which has a much larger power reserve.

In order to secure the electric drive bracket as securely as possible, it is necessary that two studs protrude from the amplifier. To do this, you need to take a 5.5 mm drill and drill two holes directly in the trunk lid reinforcement of your car. We take a piece of wire and weld or solder a couple of M5 screws to it, after which we bend the wire and insert it directly into the cavity between the outer and inner panels of the trunk lid of your car.

So, we got protruding studs. Now you need to install the bracket and secure it with nuts. We mount the electric drive on a bracket, and we hook the solenoid cable to the locking screw with a washer.

After completing all of the above work, we supply power to the electric drive, and we do this by laying wires in the trunk lid amplifier. We lay them parallel to the standard, basic wiring harness.

But the button for opening the trunk lid should be non-locking. After all, power should be supplied to it only while it is held with a finger. This button can be installed in a convenient place; for example, it is often installed on the lining of the floor tunnel instead of the plastic plug present there. After that, the tips of the power wires can be connected to the button.

We place the button in the hole in the lining of the floor tunnel, connecting the negative wire terminal to the battery terminal. We try to open the trunk lid of our car without a key.
